Systol (Hana Log) records the sounds of life in her surroundings,
the sounds of instruments and modular synthesizers she comes across and experiment with,
to rearrange the entries in this library into noise/ambient/industrial/galactic/organic/evolving compositions and soundscapes - by turns spellbinding, hypnotic, disturbing, unsettling.
Live, she superimposes her processed voice and bowed strings. She prefers collaborative works,
interconnection, be it in her music, or in her painting,
and initiates as many projects as this one.

To compose the 5 works featured on "Se Crée",
she has drawn from the extensive library of sound material/sonic matter of Julien Palomo's ARP 2600 and EMS Synthi E,
adding her own sense of space and beat, re-arranging chaos into sizeable textures.

Julien Palomo a.k.a. Improvising Being(s) has a background in Free Jazz and free improvisation before electronic music. His chaotic work,
created mainly on vintage analogue modular synthesizers, is an abstract reading of minimalism and drone, open to melody and nostalgia, which has been described as "symphonic noise".
He has published an album on Entr'Acte in 2016, and is the other half of the Other Matter duo with Michel Kristof.
