Systol (Hana Log) records the sounds of life in her surroundings,
the sounds of instruments and modular synthesizers she comes across and experiment with,
to rearrange the entries in this library into noise/ambient/industrial/galactic/organic
compositions and soundscapes - by turns spellbinding, hypnotic, disturbing, unsettling.
Live, she superimposes her processed voice and bowed strings. She prefers collaborative works, interconnection,
be it in her music, or in her painting, and initiates as many projects as this one.
Philippe Neau's work evokes imaginary landscapes, putting the emphasis on non-linear narrations, atonality,
ominous glitches, clangor, muffled field-recordings, abstractions and organic collages.
The air of dark menace invites the listener/voyeur to immerse himself in the starkness and fullness of sound,
to experience an intriguing sonic space. His paintings and short films are highly evocative of these mental landscapes.
